But He answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet [Johah]. For as HJonah] was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.  Matthew 12:40

Jesus Told His Disciples He Would Suffer , Die, and Be Raised the Third Day

Jesus Told His Disciples Again that He Would Be Betrayed, Die, and Be Raised the Third Day
*And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: And they shall kill Him, and the third day He shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry. Matthew 17:22-23

Jesus Predicted He Would Be Mocked After Being Betrayed, Die, and Rise the Third Day
*And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, Behold, We go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn Him to death, And shall deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify Him: and the third day He shall rise again. Matthew 20:17-19

Jesus  Served Others by Ministering to Them and Gave His Life to Save Us From Our Sins
*And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:27-28

Jesus Reminds His Disciples That 2 Days After Passover, He Would Be Betrayed &  Crucified
*And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, He said unto His disciples, Ye know that after two days is the feast of the Passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified. Matthew 26:1-2

*Now when the even was come, He sat down with the twelve. And as they did eat, He said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray Me. Matthew 26:21

Jesus Tells the Disciples That the One Who Betrays Him Will Regret It
*And He answered and said, He that dippeth His hand with Me in the dish, the same shall betray Me. The Son of man goeth as it is written of Him: but woe unto that man by whom the son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. Matthew 26:23-24

Jesus Explains Communion & Tells Them Next Time He Will Have It With Them in Heaven

Matthew 26: 29-30

Jesus Shares That Tonight The Disciples Will Be Scattered Like Sheep When He Is Betrayed
*And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives. Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of Me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad. And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man. And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also are one of them; for thy speech [betrayeth] thee. Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man.
