Healing Miracles of Jesus Healing Witnessed in the Gospel of Matthew

Isaiah 29:18 says: In that day the deaf shall hear the word of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness. Isaiah 35:4-5 says: Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.” Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 

[These things were predicted of the Messiah in the Old Testament and the following is proof that Jesus, the Son of God, fulfilled these ancient prophecies about Him.]

When He was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, if Thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean. And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is My body. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. and when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him. And His disciples said unto Him, Thou seest the multitude thronging Thee, and sayest Thou, Who Touched Me? And He looked around about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before Him, and told Him all the truth. While He yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troubles thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. And He suffered no man to follow Him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James. And He cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly. And when He was come in, [Jesus] saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed Him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, He taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with Him, and enetereth in where the damsel was lying. and He took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being intererpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment. Mark 5:35-42

And He could there do no mighty work, save that [Jesus] laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And He [marveled] because of their unbelief. And He went round about the villages, teaching. Mark 6:5-6

And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: [Jesus] maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak. Mark 7:37

The Blind Witnessed Jesus Heal Him, So That He Could See Clearly

And He cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto Him, and besought Him to touch him. And [Jesus] took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when He had spit on his eyes, and put His hands upon him, He asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that He put His hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. Mark 8:22-25

And when He saw their faith, He said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee. And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of Man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (He said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house. And He came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of His disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear Him, and to be healed of their diseases; And they that were vexed with [evil spirits]: and they were healed. And the whole multitude sought to touch [Jesus]; for there went virtue out of Him, and healed them all. Luke 6:17-19

Then Jesus went with them. And when He was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying unto Him, Lord, trouble not Thyself: for I am not worthy that Thou shouldest enter under my roof: Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto Thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed. For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard these things, He [marveled] at him, and turned Him about, and said unto the people that followed Him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick. Luke 7:6-10

When the men were come unto Him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto Thee, saying, Art Thou He that should come? or look we for another? Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached. And blessed is he whosoever shall not be offended in Me. Luke 7:20-23

And all wept, and bewailed her: but He said, Weep not: she is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. And He put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and He commanded to give her meat. And her parents were astonished: but He charged them that they should tell no man what was done. Luke 8:49-56

And He laid His hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.  Luke 13:10-13

And as He entered into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And He said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. Luke 17:12-19
